Defending our rural way of life isn’t an abstract debate—it requires active, vigilant leadership right here at home. I am running for the Board of Supervisors because county government works best when there are checks and balances, independent oversight, and leaders who aren't afraid to ask the tough questions.

When one single group holds every seat on a board, public input can quickly become an afterthought. Decisions get fast-tracked, fine print goes unread, and outside interests end up taking priority over local taxpayers.

I am stepping up because District 5 deserves a Supervisor who will hold the line—someone who won't just rubber-stamp tax breaks for out-of-state developers and mega-corporations while local families and farmers carry the load.

I bring real-world, hands-on experience to the Board of Supervisors:

• As a Family Farmer: I understand the daily economic realities of rural Iowa, the critical need for well-maintained gravel roads and bridges, and the vital importance of protecting our prime agricultural soil from unchecked sprawl.
• As a Real Estate Professional: I know how contracts, zoning laws, and development deals work. I will use that expertise to make sure big developers pay their own way instead of getting a free ride at taxpayer expense.
• As an Independent: I answer to no political party or outside PACs. My loyalty belongs exclusively to the residents, farmers, and working families of District 5.

If you believe our county tax dollars should go toward fixing our rural roads and supporting our small-town Main Streets before subsidizing corporate handouts; if you believe our property rights, family farms, and local schools deserve protection from government overreach; and if you want a Supervisor who will look out for your pocketbook—then I ask for your vote.

Let’s bring accountability back to the county government and put the citizens of Warren County first.
